TEMPO Instruments Vacuum Ovens enable rapid drying of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), heat-sensitive organic compounds, electronic components, and powder samples by reducing the boiling point of liquids under high vacuum conditions up to 760 mmHg.

Operating Performance Limits

Max Vacuum Pressure: 760 mmHg (1013 mbar / 1x10⁻² mbar)
Temperature Control Range: Ambient + 5°C to 200°C / 250°C
Temperature Uniformity: ± 1.5°C across all trays
Vacuum Leakage Rate: < 0.01 mbar·l/s (Helium Tested)

Industry Applications

  • • Pharmaceutical & API: Solvent removal from thermolabile drugs without oxidation
  • • Battery & Chemical: Electrodes & lithium powder drying in inert gas atmosphere
  • • Electronics & Optics: Outgassing semiconductor wafers and optical lenses
  • • Research & Testing: Moisture determination in food, polymers, and catalysts

Vacuum Seal Architecture & Heating Mechanics

Constructed with heavy gauge SS 316 / SS 304 argon-welded vacuum chambers supported by high-grade silicone perimeter gaskets and a toughened glass viewing window door. Heat is transferred via direct conductive contact aluminum or stainless steel shelves equipped with independent sheathed heaters driven by phase-angle SCR drives.
