1

Triple-Walled Cabinet

Heavy-duty SS 304 outer and inner body fitted with heat-resistant silicone door gaskets and ergonomic slam latches.

2

3″ High-Density Glasswool

High-grade thermal insulation densely packed between inner chamber and outer shell to eliminate thermal radiation losses.

3

Tubular Heating Elements

Kanthal A1 Nichrome air heaters positioned symmetrically in heating ducts to generate continuous dry heat energy.

4

Motorized Blower System

High-CFM balanced motor forced air circulation ensures fast heat absorption and minimal spatial variation.

5

PID Microprocessor Controller

Dual digital display showing process set point (SP) and real-time process value (PV) with auto-tuning capability.

6

Adjustable Wire Trays

Electropolished stainless steel mesh shelves adjustable at varying heights to accommodate large lab glassware.

7

Precision Pt-100 RTD Sensor

Class A duplex Pt-100 temperature sensor offering millidegree-accurate continuous temperature readings.

8

Over-Temperature Cutoff

Independent hydraulic safety thermostat cuts off power automatically if temperature exceeds safe limits.

How Dry Heat Sterilization Works

Dry heat sterilization relies on thermal conduction. Radiant thermal energy is absorbed by the outer surfaces of items placed inside the chamber and gradually penetrates layer-by-layer toward the core until microorganisms undergo oxidative destruction and cell wall denaturation.

STEP 1

Chamber Loading & Gasket Sealing

Glassware, metal tools, or powders are loaded onto perforated trays leaving 30% gap for airflow.

STEP 2

PID Controller Parameter Setting

Operator sets target soak temperature (e.g., 160°C for 2 Hours, or 180°C for 30 Min) and timer duration.

STEP 3

Convective Circulation & Holding Soak

Hot air circulates continuously. Once set point is reached, the soak timer starts holding precise heat balance.

STEP 4

Auto Alarm Shutoff & Controlled Cooldown

Heating elements turn off automatically. Buzzer alerts the operator once safe handling temperature is reached.

Range Classification

Hot Air Oven Convection Types

Select the optimal circulation dynamics based on your sample physical properties and cycle times.

01

Natural Gravity Convection

Relies on thermal buoyancy where warm air rises naturally without blowers. Best suited for fine powders, light granules, or delicate samples that would blow away in forced air.

Air Movement: Gravity Flow
Temp Uniformity: ±2.5°C
Noise Level: Silent (0 dB)
Most Popular Choice
02

Forced Blower Convection

Utilizes a continuous motor blower fan to recirculate pre-heated air across all shelves. Delivers rapid heating, minimal temperature drop, and fast drying.

Air Movement: Motorized Recirculation
Temp Uniformity: ±1.0°C (High Precision)
Drying Speed: Accelerated Cycle
03

Side Draught High Velocity

Features horizontal side-to-side airflow channels for rapid heat recovery upon door opening. Engineered for heavy industrial or high moisture evaporation tasks.

Air Movement: Lateral Horizontal Flow
Temp Range: Up to 450°C
Door Recovery: Ultra-Fast Recovery
